Gerold Larson “Jerry”

As one of Jerry’s fans, We are saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing yesterday. He gave so much to our communities. He’s served on the board of the MRC shellfish committee. He was instrumental in starting clam surveys in Whatcom County and he conducted numerous clam surveys with us on Lummi Island. He will be missed by many people and our waters and sea life he so passionately cared about. Our prayers go with his family during this time.

  2. What a gift Jerry gave to the Birch Bay Community…we were lucky to have had him as a part of this beautiful area that he loved so dearly………………the world was a better place because he was in it.

  3. Jerry, even though his health required him to slow down, he was eager to start another endeavor. The Garden Club in Birch Bay was something he was ready to tackle in it’s beginning stages with his knowledge and love of plants. He was a community oriented, all for the good causes gentleman.

  4. Thank you for posting this Wanda. Jerry was a treasure. I’m so glad that I got to know him.
